MINDY LEAF, AROUND TOWN

"If you've ever used dating apps, you'll love this play. If you've had a rocky marriage and kept secrets from your husband, you'll relate. If you're a mom blessed with a child who's different from the one you expected to raise (and don't ALL our children surprise us!), you'll sympathize. Finally, if you appreciate the electric atmosphere and personal engagement that can only come from experiencing live theater in an intimate venue, you'll love "Grindr Mom." In other words, this show has something for everyone. It's also a world premiere that is destined to develop far-reaching legs. But you can boast you saw it first in your hometown."

GOLD STAR AUDIENCE REVIEWS

TERRY REGNIER

"We really enjoyed the show. However I did not see it as a comedy. Yes, there were lots of laugh lines, but down deep it has a very serious message. A friend, who attended with me, works in a psych hospital, where he see patients everyday who have been seriously effected by someone they love who has become entangled in this web. Unbelievable the number of attempted suicides he has seen. You did a really great job in portraying the frustration and anger. But again, I didn't see it as a comedy. And ... Jeni Hacker .. A wonderful actress. May she go far!"

SCOTT CLEARWATER

"Ronnie Larsen's play is well written, emotional and poignant. Jeni Hacker is a South Florida treasure and shouldn't be missed. Her performance is fantastic, as you witness her maneuver thruugh the world of Grindr. A fun night.
